The Official Launch of Yoon Hyun Institute

This year January, the Yoon Hyun Institute was found to commemorate Benjamin H. Yoon, Founder of the Korean chapter of Amnesty International and Citizens’ Alliance for North Korean Human Rights (NKHR), who passed away on June 3, 2019 in his 90th year. He worked tirelessly to promote human rights and shine a light of hope on North Korea.  Observing his one year death anniversary and announcing its official launch, the Institute held a press conference and round-table on June 2, 2020. Speakers and participants reviewed NKHR’s works to date and shared ideas for the future of advocacy campaigns on North Korean human rights.
